One of my best friends, Zack, who I’ve known since before we were born, recently asked Casey to marry him. Of course, she said, “Yes!” So when I was home for Thanksgiving, I asked if I could use them as guinea pigs for an engagement photo shoot, something I hadn’t done before. Overall, I didn’t get what I was hoping for, but I got these few that are worth sharing. Enjoy!

At the end of July, I went home for lobster fishing! Included here are the obligatory “pose with your catch” shots, and one of our captain, Tyler.

In a couple of previous posts, I teased my Fourth of July trip with Dory and her family to Marco Island. Here’s the rest from a great trip with a fantastic family.

Last weekend I went to Marco Island with Dory and her family. For this excellent work, Dory and her sister, Erin, got second place for sand sculpting. Had they had children on their team, they would have won.
