staying warm in detroit

Last week, on the way from NJ to LA, I had a layover in Detroit. It was 15 degrees outside. There was snow in the jetway. I cheated my way to Economy Plus for the long flight.

days 8 & 9 – casablanca and madrid

We each tried to come up with our favorite parts of the trip, but couldn’t. We couldn’t even decide which hotel was the best! I think Dory and I agree that this was one of the best trips either of us has ever taken. Here’s the end of it.

day 7 – rabat

Our last full day in Morocco, we wandered around Rabat and actually stopped to see some of the sights. The day ended with a sunset on the Atlantic.

The fifth day of our trip was the day we crossed to Morocco. What a culture change!
