so we watched music videos and ate barbeque in austin

Just before Ellery was born, my friends Brian, Zack, and I gathered in Brian’s new home in Austin for a weekend of poker, music videos, kayaking, and my invention of contained s’mores.

so we arrived in maine for #sangermaine15

My brother got married in Maine over labor day weekend. Here’s our arrival on Thursday.

so we waited at the airport and headed off for Key West

Christmas Day brought an amazing apple-pancake breakfast, courtesy of Colby (I really need to mentally wake up sooner so I can photograph such good things). After that, we took a drive to the airport so Dory and I could head to Key West for the rest of the holiday.

so we saw wood carvings and exotic fish in the mountains

Day 2 in Gatlinburg took us to a wood carving place and the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.
