falafel, shawarama, or pizza – day 5.0

Monday, February 8th, was another busy one for us.  We woke up and went to a nearby moshav.  Moshavim (מושב) are similar to kibbutzim in that they are cooperative communities.  Where they differ, however, is that farms on a moshav are individually owned.  On the farm, we picked some carrots, made pesto pita thingies, enjoyed some strawberries, made necklaces with cumquats, and threw pigeons in the air.  Here are photos from that stop, kicked off with sunrise at the Bedouin tent.  Next up, we meet our Israelis!
