A winter’s worth of snow

Yesterday brought the second biggest snowfall ever to Philadelphia, an official 23.2 inches.  I was stuck inside all day and had to dig my way out.  While most people just dig the snow piled up in front of their cars, I had to dig under my car to create enough clear pavement for my rear tires to hook-up.  Yes, rear.  I have a rear-wheel drive vehicle.  And it doesn’t work so well in the snow.  Here’s what it looked like around my apartment.  I’m going to go venture out and will bring back more to share later.

  1. Pretty pictures, but I definitely don’t want to live through that! One winter in Philly has taught me much.
